Square Enix and Kadokawa Games are working together on a new smartphone game called Akashic Re:cords, and they shared a first look at the game’s animated opening video.

The theme song is called “Catch Me” by The Oral Cigarettes. It shows a bunch of the main characters, or “Creators,” summoning their partners that will help them out in battle. You can catch some of its gameplay in our earlier report.

Akashic Re:cords is expected to launch this year for smartphone in Japan.
