One of the biggest announcements at Xbox’s E3 2017 press conference was that original Xbox games would be coming to the Xbox One in the form of a suped-up backward compatibility program.
Now we know that Fuzion Frenzy, a four-player party game that launched with the original Xbox, will be coming to the backward compatibility program, thanks to a tweet by Xbox’s Major Nelson, Larry Hryb.
We don’t have a specific date for when original Xbox games will be added to the backward compatibility library, but the update is expected to roll out later in 2017.
At the conference, Xbox showed off one Xbox game, Crimson Skies, running on an Xbox One S. Not only that, but an ethernet cord ran between the Xbox One S and an original Xbox, showing off the program’s cross-platform system link capabilities.
