Battlefront II isn’t the only Star Wars game that EA has in the works.
Visceral Games is also working on a Star Wars game, and if recent purported leaks about the game are true, we might be even more excited for this one than we are about DICE’s upcoming shooter.
Besides an interview at PAX West, in which Hennnig spilled a few details on what we can expect from the game’s story structure, we’ve seen almost nothing else from the untitled game so far, mostly because Battlefront II is EA’s main Star Wars project at the moment.
But, in addition to its successful original series Dead Space, Visceral has a long history of adapting existing properties like James Bond, The Godfather, and Lord of the Rings, so we’re excited to see what Henning and company do with the Star Wars universe. Visceral’s Star Wars game is scheduled for release sometime in 2018.
