Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem mobile apps to be free

Both are “pure-game apps,” DeNA chief executive says. Nintendo’s Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem smartphone games will be free to download, according to partner company DeNA.

Animal Crossing will be designed so that it will be connected with the world of Animal Crossing for Nintendo’s dedicated gaming systems.

“Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing are both free-to-start apps,” DeNA chief executive Isao Moriyasu told The Wall Street Journal.
