The CRPG Book Review

The CRPG Book: A Guide to Computer Role-Playing Games is a really beautiful and pretty complete journey through the history of mainly Western RPGs.

I have a great passion for role-playing games when I was growing up with the consumer computers. I do not play them so much these days, because they represent serious time investment. The book serves both as a trip to the old days, where I revisit titles that I played, and provides overview of the ones that I missed in more recent years.

Excellent paper and print quality, maybe one of the best I have seen for a long while. Ideal book to read now when winter is here. Thanks to Bitmap Books for sending in a review copy to The Artifice.
