Microsoft Gaming boss Phil Spencer has made a statement regarding the future of the Call of Duty franchise after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is completed.
Speaking with The Verge about the deal, Spencer has essentially said that the Call of Duty franchise will also come to PlayStation.
Spencer has also stated that Xbox has an “intent to honor existing Activision agreements, and desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.”
This mirrors similar statements made by Spencer and Microsoft about ensuring Activision Blizzard’s games remaining multiplatform after its acquisition.
