Capcom has announced that it has made Taiwanese 3DCG production company Minimum Studios a subsidiary through the acquisition of two-thirds of its total issued shares.
It’s safe to say that we’ll likely be seeing Minimum Studios continuing to work on a number of future Capcom games.
“Going forward, Capcom will continue to explore the acquisition of necessary technological capabilities in order to enhance its game development organization,” the company said.
Capcom says it took the step to “bolster its developmental and technological capabilities, aiming to achieve its long-term management goal of 100 million units in annual sales.”
