Multiple major first-party Microsoft-published games have released for rival, non-Xbox platforms this year, with Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded, and of course, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 all having released either for PlayStation or Switch (or both).

For now, two first-party Xbox titles are confirmed to be receiving multiplatform releases in 2025, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and DOOM: The Dark Ages both headed for PS5.

Previous reports, however, have claimed that a remaster of Halo: Combat Evolved is in development and in consideration for a PS5 launch.

Interestingly enough, Spencer stated that it’s too early yet for any such decisions to have been made for the next Halo.
