Control 2 is an Action RPG, Per Remedy

With the ending of Alan Wake 2: The Lake House teasing it and Remedy confirming the start of full production in 2025, Control 2’s development is starting to pick up steam.

However, the developer confirmed something unexpected at this year’s Capital Markets Day: Control 2 will be an action RPG.

Remedy is also working on FBC: Firebreak, a multiplayer co-op spin-off set years after the first game.
