Announced through a post on LinkedIn, the studio’s CEO Herve Hoerdt wrote about how the decision was made due to the studio’s previous title, Unknown 9: Awakening, not reaching sales expectations.

Unknown 9: Awakening was released back in October on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

While Hoerdt refers to Unknown 9: Awakening as having a “rich transmedia universe,” a follow-up would not be in the works.
