Kotick has led Activision since reorganizing it more than 25 years ago In internal conversations, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has raised the possibility of leaving the company, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.
Kotick, whose ouster has been demanded from employee groups to investor representatives, has led Activision since 1991.
On Wednesday, a shareholder group requested the resignation of Kotick and two other Activision Blizzard board members, Brian Kelly and Robert Morgado, by Dec. 31.
Since then, more than 1,000 Activision Blizzard employees have signed a petition calling for Kotick to resign.
