Adam West, beloved actor and star of Batman TV series, dies at 88

  • West died on Friday night in Los Angeles after a short fight with leukemia, a family spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.

  • One of the best actors to ever play the Caped Crusader Adam West, an actor with more than six decades of work under his belt and beloved by many for his role as Batman in the original Batman TV series, has died.

  • Even when not playing Batman, West couldn’t get away from the fandom that followed him.
