In an Alan Wake anniversary update from Remedy, creative director Sam Lake revealed that the studio will be keeping Alan Wake 2 updates under wraps for a little while longer, and there won’t be an update this summer.
So, rather than sacrifice resources for a promotional update, Lake says Remedy wants to take the current momentum and keep developing Alan Wake 2 which means “unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a demo and trailer.”
Alongside the small update on Alan Wake 2, Remedy announced that it is working with AMC on an Alan Wake TV show, and that Alan Wake Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Alan Wake 2 was revealed at The Game Awards last December and is set to be Remedy’s first true survival horror game.
