Borderlands 4 Will Have a Release Date “Soon,” Says Take-Two CEO

Take-Two Interactive’s financial results are out now, and while the company reaffirmed a Fall 2025 launch for Grand Theft Auto 6, there have been other release updates.

While that doesn’t bring us any closer to a concrete release date, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Variety, “You will have a date soon, and then all will become clear.”

Gearbox’s Borderlands 4, in particular, has gone from launching before April 2026 to arriving in calendar 2025.
