Whenever Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 launches, it’ll be a cross-gen title, contrary to what some previous leaks alleged.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be launching this year, but that isn’t the only major new entry in the series scheduled for 2022.
Infinity Ward and Activision also have Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 planned for a 2022 launch, and though the game is yet to be officially unveiled, Activision has reiterated that it is still very much planned for a launch this year.
It’s joined on calendar by fellow Activision Blizzard titles World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Overwatch 2, and the aforementioned Modern Warfare 2.
