To compare, in the fiscal year ended March 2018, when Capcom shipped Monster Hunter: World and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the company achieved 24.4 million total unit sales.
And in the fiscal year ended March 2020, when it shipped Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, it achieved 25.5 million total unit sales.
Capcom plans to release “multiple major new titles” by March 31, 2021, the company said in its fiscal year 2019 results presentation.
In the fiscal year ended March 2019, when it shipped Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5, it achieved 25.3 million total unit sales.
