Dragon Age: Inquisition saw Laidlaw take over as the creative director and though the game saw its fair share of criticism for its quest design, it was generally lauded as a return to form after Dragon Age 2.
Bioware veteran Mike Laidlaw has announced his departure from the studio which he’s worked at for 14 years.
He did assure fans that the world of Dragon Age is in good hands and that he’s “excited for the road ahead.”
He’s since worked on a number of titles since then like Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Mass Effect and the entire Dragon Age series.
