Sony recently officially revealed the PS5 controller recently- called the DualSense, it’s taking a slightly different approach than what the PlayStation line of consoles has stuck to over the years.
And while Sony have not explicitly said that the DualSense will be better than its predecessor in that regard, they have said that the controller will have a strong battery life.
While that doesn’t necessarily equate to the DualSense having an advantage over the DualShock 4 in terms of battery life, we do hope that Sony will have taken feedback on the PS4 controller into account while working on their next-gen hardware.
Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that contrary to a few reports, the DualSense does still have an audio jack.
