Minecraft has made its showing at Microsoft’s E3 2017 presentation, dropping two huge features that fans have been clamoring for: 4K resolution and cross-platform play.
Microsoft’s presentation also confirmed the upcoming Better Together update, which is set to introduce a new community marketplace as well as massive new servers and cross-platform play.
Enter the Minecraft Super Duper Graphics Pack, an upcoming update that promises vastly increased graphical fidelity.
While this doesn’t mean players from competing consoles will be able to get together on a single server, it does mean that Windows 10, Xbox, mobile, and even Minecraft VR players will be able to share their experiences together.
