EA confirms Star Wars Battlefront 2

EA has confirmed Star Wars Battlefront 2 will release “next year” during the company’s latest earnings call.

Jorgensen also explained plans for the release of at least a new Star Wars game each year, for the next few years.

The announcement was made by EA’s Chief Financial Officer, Blake Jorgensen, revealing plans to include content from the new Star Wars films—presumably The Force Awakens and the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, although neither film was named in the call.
