EA’s big new open-world action game won’t be out until at least 2019

In EA’s latest earning’s call, CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that this game won’t be ready until fiscal year 2020 or 2021.

Hopefully fans aren’t on the edge of their seats waiting for Electronic Arts’ promised “gigantic,” Assassin’s Creed-esque action game, because it won’t be coming out any time soon.

EA first spoke of this game last October, when EA Studios VP Patrick Söderlund expressed interest in creating an open-world game on a scale that could rival huge action games like Grand Theft Auto and Assassin’s Creed.
