As per an internal memo from Epic Games (via ResetEra), Epic Games reached out to Sony to snag a number of PlayStation first party titles as exclusives for the Epic Games Store for their PC releases.
It’s unknown what came of this, while Predator: Hunting Grounds did release as an Epic Games Store exclusive, Days Gone is coming to Steam as well.
Meanwhile, the document also shows that Epic considered reaching out to Microsoft and Nintendo to exclusives as well, but deemed both non-starters.
According to the memo, they offered $200 million for 4-6 games.
