Team-based space combat game Fractured Space has made the switch to free-to-play with the release of its latest update, developer Edge Case Games has announced.
“Fractured Space is fundamentally team-based and we believe the new update will add a strong competitive element to our universe and increase accessibility to new players” James Brooksby, CEO of Edge Case Games, said.
Finally, the update revamps the tutorial system and adds the Firing Range, where players can test any ship before purchase.
The update introduces two new sector maps, two new ships, rebalances the game, and adds a new Drop System that offers rewards to players for a variety of in-game activities.
