Publisher Shonen Gangan and Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa are teasing a new project to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary.
The exciting announcement will coincide with the show’s 20th anniversary, commemorating the release of the first manga chapter published in 2001.
A second anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, released in 2009 and ended faithfully to Arakawa’s conclusion.
Shonen Gangan also revealed that the magazine will feature Fullmetal Alchemist on the cover of the publisher’s upcoming issue.
