The Metal Gear creator wants a big studio, but not too big.
Hideo Kojima has been touring the world looking for game engines, and building his new studio in the process.
Comparatively, according Kojima, the Metal Gear Solid team had at one point over 200 staff members, and that a smaller size will help the creator “connect to the developers directly.”
“I’m aiming to keep the staff less than 100 people,” Kojima said through a translator at a recent roundtable discussion, as reported by Game Reactor.
