The Look Back anime adaptation will be in US movie theaters in New York City, New York and Los Angeles, California on October 4, 2024, then throughout the country between October 6-7, 2024. The manga was released in English via Viz Media.

The Look Back anime film based on the Tatsuki Fujimoto manga is headed to movie theaters in the US on October 6-7, 2024. following an early release in select venues on October 4, 2024. This comes after it debuted in Japan in June 2024. Look Back is the story of two young women who aspire to become mangaka and create their own original manga series.

Look Back first appeared as a manga back in 2021, before the one shot was turned into a movie.
