Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Update 2.0 Adds 4K Support on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

For the majority of Metal Gear fans, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is taking up most of our attention, but but Konami is continuing to update and improve Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 with patches as well.

Konami has kept up a decent cadence of updates for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which, after its somewhat rough launch, is worth noting, at the very least, especially with the company having confirmed that a Master Collection Vol. 2 is also in the works.

For starters, players on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PS4 Pro can now play Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater at an upscaled 4K resolution, courtesy of a new Adjusted Mode, which uses an internal upscales to allow for improved visual quality.
