Metro Awakening is Available Now for Deluxe Edition Owners

  • The wait for a follow-up to Metro Exodus continues, but while developer 4A Games is at work on the next mainline instalment in the post-apocalyptic shooter series, fans have something else to look forward to in the form of Metro Awakening.

  • Developed by Vertigo Games, the VR-exclusive shooter is due out imminently, but has already gone live in early access for those who purchased its Deluxe Edition.

  • Metro Awakening serves as a prequel to Metro 2033, following a doctor named Serdar and telling the origin story of the character Khan.
