Microsoft today announced plans to shut down Project Spark, a simple but powerful game-creation tool it released for the Xbox One and PC, and which had been made free-to-play late last year.
Project Spark was much-feted by Microsoft in the early days of the Xbox One, and enabled creators to develop their own games using game objects and logic.
“When Project Spark transitioned away from active development last fall, many of our team members moved to other projects within Microsoft Studios.
Users must download and save all Project Spark content they want to access by that time.
