Minecraft getting crossplay, 4K support, graphics upgrade

  • On top of crossplay and a server browser, Minecraft will also be getting 4K HDR support on Xbox One, Windows 10, iOS, mobile, and VR, along with improved lighting, shadows, water effects.

  • Minecraft players will be very happy following Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

  • During the conference, it was announced that the Better Together Update introduces cross-platform play this summer, unifying the Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and VR versions of the game.
