On top of crossplay and a server browser, Minecraft will also be getting 4K HDR support on Xbox One, Windows 10, iOS, mobile, and VR, along with improved lighting, shadows, water effects.
Minecraft players will be very happy following Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
During the conference, it was announced that the Better Together Update introduces cross-platform play this summer, unifying the Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and VR versions of the game.
Following the update, all of the various editions of Minecraft will simply be called “Minecraft.”
