MLB and Sony Interactive Entertainment announce multi-year, multiplatform extension for MLB The Show

  • Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego Studio have announced a multi-year extension to continue the development and distribution of MLB The Show, as well as release the game for additional console platforms beyond PlayStation as early as 2021.

  • MLB The Show 20 will commemorate the 15th anniversary of the MLB The Show franchise in 2020.

  • Sony Interactive Entertainment has been creating officially licensed baseball games for over 20 years.
