New Battlefield art leaks, appears to confirm World War I setting

An image from Battlefield 5 — or whatever EA will officially call the next game in the series — seems to confirm long-standing rumors that DICE’s shooter will take place during the First World War, or an alternate-history version of that conflict.

First Battlefield 5 details come from Xbox Store Details on Electronic Arts and DICE’s new Battlefield game appear to have leaked a bit early, thanks to the Xbox Store.

We’ll find out more, officially, when EA and DICE reveal official details on the next Battlefield game later today.
