Publisher Devovler Digital and Broforce developer Free Lives have unveiled their next collaboration, with “reverse city-builder” Terra Nil scheduled for a PC release later in the year.
Terra Nil doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but Devolver and Free Lives have confirmed it will be featured as part of the Steam Next Fest with a playable demo available on the platform on PC from June 16.
The game promises multiple regions, each with their own “flavour and procedural generation palette” and the team promise that no two playthroughs will be the same.
Hand drawn visuals “inspired by the work of Studio Ghibli” and a laid-back soundtrack complete the game’s mellow aesthetic which you can see for yourself in the trailer below.
