Square Enix revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that NieR: Automata will have a collaboration with Final Fantasy XV that will bring its iconic Engine Blade weapon for YoRHa 2B.
Additionally, Square Enix is preparing to bring something from NieR: Automata to Final Fantasy XV, but we’ll learn more about that on a later date.
In addition to bringing the Engine Blade as a one-handed sword weapon for 2B, it’ll have a neat exclusive evasion effect. Since it’s modeled after the weapon directly from Final Fantasy XV, it’ll also display damage the same way we see it in the RPG as well.
NieR: Automata releases in Japan on February 23, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
