Overkill Acquires Payday Franchise Rights, Removing Microtransactions from Payday 2

Other black market and skill changes will be detailed in the coming days.
The black market will now be free to everyone as of update 100 on Thursday, June 2nd.
The Payday franchise has been going through quite a tough time what with the microtransactions and the poor ports of Payday 2 on the Xbox One and PS4.
After a good year or more of dealing with microtransactions in Payday 2, developer Overkill Software has acquired the franchise rights from 505 Games and decided to remove all microtransactions from the title.
