Overwatch Won’t Ship With Competitive Mode, Currently Being Reworked

Game director Jeff Kaplan revealed that Competitive Mode was removed for the beta and won’t be available at launch after looking at feedback from the closed beta.

However, one noteworthy absence was the lack of the Competitive Mode which was seen in the closed beta.

Overwatch is out on May 24th so we’ll see how Competitive Mode pans out in the coming months.
