Leaks have claimed that the PS5 Pro is due out later this year, with an announcement allegedly scheduled for September.
As the report mentions, Italian outlet Multiplayer also claimed in a recent livestream that they had been told by a developer at Gamescom that they had delayed their upcoming title to better align it with the launch of the PS5 Pro.
Rumours of a PS5 Pro have been in the headlines for quite some time now, and though Sony has yet to officially announce the mid-gen console refresh, it looks like it’s only a matter of time before that happens, with the console apparently being an “open secret” amongst game developers at Gamescom last week.
That’s as per a report published by Wccftech, with a developer allegedly having told the outlet that they had received the PS5 Pro’s specs, and that the console would be able to run Unreal Engine 5-powered titles much better than the existing PS5 model.
