Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s soccer team, Wrexham AFC will unexpectedly be playable in FIFA 22.
EA sports confirmed in a press release that the company’s partnership with Wrexham AFC will span multiple years, beginning in FIFA 22, with the team available for players to use in kick-off mode.
Following the team’s inclusion in the game, Reynolds and McElhenney took to Twitter to announce the news in a typical comedic fashion.
“It’s great to be partnering with Wrexham AFC and to support the club’s commitments to the Wrexham community and its fans,” said EA Sports VP of Brand, David Jackson.
