Shenmue 1 and 2 in HD a possibility if 'quality' is there, Sega says

“We would need to ensure that any HD remaster lives up to the quality of the original titles.”

In a episode of Sega Central, Dan Sheridan responded to an Ask Sega query on the possibility of a Shenmue 1 and 2 remaster, saying it is not as simple as porting the games to the current platforms.

It will also look at the possibility of letting the game be voiced in Japanese and English, but it sin;t likely because of budgetary concerns.
