Sony Discussing Acquisition of FromSoftware Parent Company Kadokawa – Rumor

Following rumors in 2022 about FromSoftware being a merger and acquisition candidate for Sony, the latter is reportedly in talks to acquire its parent company, Kadokawa Corporation.

While Sony didn’t comment on the report, Kadokawa said it “can’t” offer any.

FromSoftware is best known for its hit action RPG titles, including Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
