Square Enix also reminded people playing FFVII Rebirth on a Steam Deck and either laptop or PC that they should make sure to swap Graphics Quality option in settings when going between the two to ensure the best possible experience.

Just ahead of launch, Square Enix confirmed the team ensured FFVII Rebirth would be Steam Deck verified, and now it also shared the best setting for running the JRPG on social media.

This move is designed to ensure that someone who picks up FFVII Rebirth and only intends to play it on the Steam Deck adjusts the settings for the best possible experience.
