As per the app’s page on the platform, it will enable you to play PC VR and Steam games on your PlayStation VR2, update your headset and Sense controllers’ firmware via Steam, adjust settings, and more.
An app for the PlayStation VR2 has emerged on Steam, according to which the platform will launch natively for the headset in a couple of weeks, on August 6.
Last month, the company released a PC adapter for the PS VR2 for those who want compatibility with PC games as well as PS5 games, and now, it seems like Steam integration is coming as well.
To say that the PlayStation VR2 is floundering would be a bit of an understatement, but Sony has decided to look to the PC space to try and salvage the headset’s situation a little bit.
