The dreaded Joy-Con drift issue has plagued Nintendo Switch since its release back in 2017.
According to Kotaku, Joy-Con repairs were reportedly not handled by Nintendo themselves, but rather by another company called United Radio.
The repair center that handled Joy-Con fixes was reportedly constantly overwhelmed and was prone to making mistakes.
As a result of the high turnover rate, there was a lack of senior expertise at United Radio which caused frequent mistakes in Nintendo Switch repairs.
