Formerly known as Lords of the Fallen 2, CI Games’ The Lords of the Fallen re-emerged at Gamescom Opening Night Live with Hexworks as the developer.
Developed on Unreal Engine 5, it takes place one thousand years after the original but still appears to be a Souls-like action RPG.
Virtosu stated, “The Lords of the Fallen is the spiritual successor fans of the original title have always wanted.
It’s darker and more challenging, with faster Souls-like combat, stronger thematic, richer narrative, deeper RPG systems, and more immersive storytelling.”
