  • Twisted Metal‘s reboot was believed to have been a live-service game, likely under PlayStation’s push to release more multiplayer live-service titles a few years ago.

  • Since then, however, PlayStation has seemingly backed off on the idea, with rumours indicating that several in-development live-service games had been cancelled.

  • According to Mp1st, a UI programmer on the cancelled project described the game he worked on as Project Copper.
