Having over half-a-million active players was enough for Valheim to overtake Dota 2, and claim the second spot behind the juggernaut Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Shortly after Valheim developer Iron gate announced that the game had sold more than 3 million copies in a little over two weeks, the survival game got another boost in active players.
At the time of writing, Valheim sits at number three behind the two games, but this could flip again as more players log in later today.
Time will tell, of course, as even PUBG was never predicted to overtake CS:GO or Dota 2.
