Today we dig deep into the archives to bring you something special: Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto speaking to his fellow game makers as part of his keynote address at the 1999 Game Developers Conference.
Miyamoto touched on the company’s history and approach to hardware design in his talk, but he also shared his core thoughts about the art of game design.
At the time, Nintendo was supporting the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color as it moved towards the launch of the Gamecube in 2001.
