Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Showcases New Zone in Cinematic Trailer for The Carnival

Celebrating the first part of the anniversary update for co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, developer Fatshark has released a new cinematic trailer showcasing the storyline for a new zone of Tertium introduced with the update—the Carnival.

The cinematic trailer introduces us to a host of new antagonist forces that seem to be a group of incredibly well-organised heretics, headed by someone named Wolfer.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has seen quite a bit of a resurgence thanks to a major update the game got back in October, fixing various bugs and introducing new talent trees for all playable characters.
