Today Koei Tecmo hosted a livestream from Tokyo, Japan, showing off the very first look at Warriors Orochi 4.
Warriors Orochi 4 will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in North America and Europe this year, while Japan will get only the PS4 and Switch versions on September 27th.
If you’re wondering why the game is titled Musou Orochi 3 in Japanese, the reason is somehow similar to the discrepancy in the Dynasty Warriors series, but this time around it’s because the second game (Warriors Orochi 2) wasn’t called Musou Orochi 2 in Japan, but Musou Orochi Maou Sairin.
When Japan continued with Musou Orochi 2, the western side of the company called it Warriors Orochi 3.
