The video goes on to claim that the newer Xbox Series S model will be costlier than the current one- though interestingly enough, Microsoft will supposedly continue to sell both Xbox Series S models, with the 2020 one even receiving a price cut.
In a recently published video, YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead (via Videocardz) has claimed that 2022 will see Microsoft releasing a newer version of the Xbox Series S that will feature a higher-spec 6nm AMD Zen APU.
The current Xbox Series S model has 4 of its 24 CUs disabled.
Thanks to a transition to TSMC 6N, the the Xbox Series S will allegedly be able to fully access all 24 of its compute units, which could potentially mean higher clock speeds and a much faster console.
